Fire Alarm Systems connection (different vendors)
Thanks to its versatile “dry socket” analog input, our system works with virtually any fire alarm system. Moreover, VAS CU has RS485 input that allows integration with any particular fire alarm system. We will show you how to connect VAS CU with fire alarm systems made by different manufacturers. This section will be updated regularly.
This system works with external PC and special software. VAS-Network unit receive command signal by the INTHERNET or by special cable. Operator on one line can say the voice information through the microphone and then the VAS-Control unit will send it to speakers.
This system works in cooperation with Fire Alarm System. It has lots of fire alarm lines with fire or smoke detectors in each room. In case of fire detector sends an emergency information to Fire alarm station. Station identifies room and a floor with fire area, and selects only one alarm wayout according to this fire alarm line. Then station send command signal through this output - it can be relay connection or "open collector" signal.
